I always hear how Potty training is hard and a very stressful time for parents and children. Well most parents are already stressed out by the time their child is ready to learn.
First take a deep breath it will be okay! All kids learn at different times don’t compare your child’s speed to any other child. As we know with many things we teach our children it’s all about making it fun.
I’m sure you have heard this time and time again but how can you make it fun right. I was the parent who googled and researched multiple ways I could make it enjoyable for my child. I always thought I wish I could make it that fun for my child. I have read many many blogs but honestly they didn’t teach me what I know now.
Here is the key to get your child to learn how to go on the potty! First: Be present in that time. Second: Find something your child loves! (My son loved the blind bags so each time he pooped on the potty he got a toy.) Your child might want a piece of candy, toy or just and excited reaction to their good dead.
My child learned to go pee and poop on the potty in less than one day! Yes, you heard me correctly! He doesn’t even have accidents anymore and was out of pull-ups in that same day.
I’m telling you it’s so easy to potty train your child. Most parents (Me) make it more stressful than it really is. Don’t over think it!
Here are a few products that have made potty training easier: 2-PACK Green and Orange Tenby Living Extra-Wide Extra-Tall Jumbo Step Stool w…
The steppping stools are the perfect height and width for your kids to safely get on the potty by themselves. I do recommend having something close for the kids and grab to make it easier to balance and sit down. The stepping stool has grips so it’s not slippery. The best part is you get 2 for this price. I use one in the bathroom and the other in the kitchen. I figured if you make it fun for them to use the stepping stool they will love using it in the bathroom 😉
The other product I recommend is: Cozy Greens Potty Seat for Boys or Girls Toilet Training | Toddler Secure Non-Slip Surface and Ring | FREE Storage Suction Cup and Hook, Potty Training eBook | Lifetime Warranty |…
Love how this sits on the toilet. It has a rubber texture around the bottom so that it doesn’t slide around. We tried another potty training seat before this one and we had to pick up our child to set them in the potty because it kept sliding. I am happy to review this one doesn’t slide it stays put for your child to sit on. It’s easy to wipe down and clean after use. It comes with attachement for the bathroom door to hang and store. I’m glad I found this seat to make potty training a little bit easier. 💙
